How to Download Photoshop For Free

I've got good news and bad news.

The good news is you can get a very expensive program absolutely free.

The bad news is many of you won't be able to use it. It's an older product that runs best on older operating systems.

Why Is It Free?

Some time ago Adobe made their entire CS2 Suite completely free due to some technical issues. They disabled the mandatory activation feature that was only available when you purchase. So that means you can get Photoshop, Illustrator and all the other products in the Suite for free.

There is no technical support for any of the software, so you are on your own if you encounter any problems.

But hey? It's free, right?

How to Download

1) Just go to this page and login. If you don't have an Adobe sign-in you'll have to create one.

2) Agree to the terms.

3) Scroll down to the bottom of the page, select your language and you will be able to download the CS2 Suite files.

Who Can Use The Suite?

If you are using Windows 8, you won't be able to install it. Some who have Windows Vista and Version 7 have been able to use it, but it's really for XP users. However, most people don't use XP anymore

Nevertheless if you happen to have an older computer or laptop around that runs Windows XP or 7, give it a try.

Knowing how to use Photoshop has really saved me a lot of money with my websites because I don't have to outsource image projects. I enjoy creating images for my sites and I've even made money because of Photoshop.

I also teach a course on Photoshop CS6. So if you can get your hands on the free copy, my course will still help you learn the program -- even if you have an older version. The course is relevant for any of the CS versions.

A lot of people say Photoshop is difficult, but it's not hard to learn if you're taught the right way. I think it's a fun program to use.
